Trained in New York, LA and Paris, Dean Delmonte has styled Toronto’s business elite for more than 25 years.
After honing his cut and colour skills with leading stylist/salon owners for decades, Dean has launched his own signature salon•spa to bring high fashion and Parisian aesthetics to the Path in Toronto’s financial core. Understanding the needs of busy, style-conscious executives for top-tier hairstyling and aesthetics in a flash, he built a dream team of specialists and imported the finest skin and haircare products to open Dean Delmonte & Company in the summer of 2014.
Dean was mentored early in his career by renowned industry visionary Ann Ahokangas and later joined the legendary Adrienne Foley, spending 12 years as her right-hand stylist catering to the unique needs of Canada’s business set in First Canadian Place and Yorkville.
Always an innovator, Dean was quick to tap into the demand for sleek looks, specializing in Japanese and Keratin straightening techniques fabulous for taming curly hair (as a man of Italian descent, unruly curls are a challenge all too familiar). To keep ahead of ever-changing trends, Dean constantly educates himself on new, upcoming looks, products and techniques by attending classes, conferences and shows.
With the cause of HIV/AIDS close to his heart, Dean is a huge supporter of the Art With Heart auction for Casey House AIDS hospice, and Snap, the photography auction for the AIDS Committee of Toronto. In addition, Dean is a passionate collector of art photography.
